Helmis wool expeditions

You're probably wondering what my label name means?
Well - I try out a lot of things that have to do with wool as a medium, so I go on versatile "expeditions". I have been knitting and crocheting since my childhood, I have improved my skills over the years and today I have found my own style, which I would describe as follows: Be colourful and free yourself from static patterns! For quite some time now I have been giving workshops in handicraft shops in the Düsseldorf area.
The special thing about my workshops: There is not only theory and practice, but also something for the "ears"! I read out my own stories and newspaper articles, which are always about a little bit of life wisdom, mostly in connection with wool. From my travels to California or Rome I have also reported internationally on the subject of wool for the "Crochet for you". For about a year now I have been writing crochet and knitting instructions, which can be found under "Helmis Wollexpeditionen" at Crazypatterns. There are also several instruction videos on my YouTube channel "Helmis Wollexpeditionen".
At the beginning of 2017 I tried dyeing wool, first with simple wool and the colors of Easter eggs. The interest among friends was very good, so that I have expanded the idea in the meantime. Acid colours from Wosepo and only the finest yarns from Atelier Zitron are the two main ingredients for my wonderful creations. The results are breathtaking and always coveted unique pieces. Yarns from Atelier Zitron are 100% mulesingfree and certified according to Öko - Tex Standard 100 with product class 1.
